Hmmm... that's sounds kind of funny... anyhow - it’s easy reading a road map but how do you know if your planned route is a car choked, commuter crazed, highway or a tranquil, scenic byway? Consult your friendly State Bicycle Coordinators. These coordinators have pertinent and important information that can assist in your route planning. They can provide cross-state routes, bike trails, maps, traffic volumes, Average Daily Traffic (ADT), highway geometrics (shoulder widths and number of lanes), construction projects, and sometimes personal insight. However, you’ll find that not all coordinators are created equal. Below you will find links to each State Bicycle Coordinator Website. If the State doesn't have a Bicycle website, I recommend that you check out the Dept. of Transportation website where you can still find important travel information.
